I saw on the news about quibid how people bid and purchase items on quibid for very low prices like 70% - 90% off i'ts regular price. so i decided to check it out. I went on quibid.com website and i registered. when you first register you have to first give quibid ur credit card or debit card information and address information in order to start biding which i did. i purchased a $60.00 bid which each bid you bid is worth $.60cents. The bid i was going for was a Apple ipad 32g wifi. My bid fund finish so i did three more purchase bids of $60.00 each which made my total of $240.00. when i realized that i was not winning any bids i stopped. i thought that my money would be refunded back into my account because i was unable to purchase any item. When i emailed customer support they only refunded me back $22.00. I am so angry i emailed them again and i have yet to get a response. Is it legal to take money from customers that bid on an item and never won the item? I dont understand. I spent $240.oo on biding on an item i never won. I am so mad. Please help!! I am going to report this to my bank now. This whole problem happened on june 18 2012.

In this case, it sounds like a large portion of the real bids were used on the site; therefore you were refunded $22.00 but the unused real bids. You really didn't understand how this works did you.
Q Bids charges per bid + if you win for the item
If you are very careful it can be fun and cheap
If you are the customer they are hoping for you use up $300 or $400 and never win any auction.
The funny thing is that they are an upfront business and their website gives good instruction on how to bid and what it costs as well as how the process works.
You can sue, and complain but I sincerely doubt you will get more back than you already have.
