I just wanted to let everyone know what a joke this so called vacation is. You'll need a vacation after dealing with all of the people at Ramada Plaza Resorts.

We arrived at the Welcome Center in Fort Lauderdale. We had upgraded to a hotel on the beach, yet when we arrived we were told that no rooms were available at that hotel, so we checked in to the hotel that the Welcome Center was located at. We requested a non smoking room at the counter. That is what we were told that we would receive, but once we walked down the hallway we learned that there is no such thing as a non smoking room in the hotel. People were hanging out in the hallway next to our room and smoking and when we went into the room it had cigarette burns in the carpet and it just felt gross in there.

You felt like you would have to wash your hands every two minutes. Being allergic to smoke I could not handle the smell. We went back to the welcome center and complained. They then sent us to the hotel where the timeshare meeting would be held. So if you've already booked and decided to actually take this vacation, tell them that you are allergic to smoke and they will put you up in much much nicer accomodations. That's about the only way that you will get your moneys worth out of this vacation.

So then we drove to the Vacation Village in Westin Florida. They were extremely polite and helpful, something I thought that people on this whole trip would be. So we actually got to stay in paradise for a couple of days while we were in Ft. Lauderdale. Then came the nightmare on the cruise ship. It is the biggest joke that you will ever experience on a cruise ship. We had upgraded to an admirals suite, thank goodness, but at the cost of an extra $300 dollars, and it really wasn't worth that.

We just didn't want to have to sleep in two seperate smaller than a twin beds. The food was supposed to be "fine dining". Well if you call one piece of bologna on two pieces of bread fine dining then this will be your cup of tea! The food was extremely disappointing, the "entertainment" was, well, lets just say there is no words to describe it. Then we drove to Orlando and checked into the Amerihost Inn. I would have to say that this hotel is not half bad. Atleast it was clean. All I can say is, cheat Ramada Plaza Resorts like they cheat us. Get the nice room in Westin and let them pick up the cost for the room.
