Dear Mr. President,

I'm having great difficulties with your company and unfortunately have to express my dissatisfaction with RegisterFly.com and request this inquiry be addressed promptly to avoid further unpleasant means of resolution.

I registred the domain name www.adrianobatti.com in 1998 and in April 18, 2002 www.weddingedge.com with RegisterFly. At that time, I made payment in full to have both domains registered until the year of 2006. This was the extent of my liability with RegisterFly.

In October of 2003, RegisterFly began taking funds from my credit card without my prior authorization. Here is a timeline of the billing errors:

October 7, 2003 charged $95.40 in error.

November 7, 2003 charged $95.40 in error.

December 24, 2003 charged $95.40 in error.

February 11, 2004 charged $95.40 in error.

As there is no communication via telephone available, on March 28, 2004, I emailed RegisterFly.com in an attempt to resolve these errors. RegisterFly claims the amount of $381.60 is owned to them for Web Hosting fees which is an error. Again, all I requested and authorized of RegisterFly is to simply register my domain names and I have paid the associated fees in full through the year 2006. I did not request nor authorize web hosting services.

All attempts to remedy this via email and fax have failed. Now, RegisterFly has locked my domain names denying me to login access to my account and turning off my websites. This unilateral action on the part of RegisterFly is causing the loss of thousands of dollars of lost revenue daily.

Please renew my faith in your company. My desire is to resolve this error in a professional manner without the need of further legal action.

Regards,

Adriano

How are they able to lock down your website???

I don't understand how RegisterFly is able to lock down your website if all they did was register it. You say you don't owe them money for hosting your site, so presumably someone else is hosting it. If that's the case how could RegisterFly do anything to your website??

Maybe if enough of use let the FTC know what crooks these people are, they will shut them down!!! Go to www.ftc.gov to file.
