Rent A Center's Manager Ben RAC Astoria Crook Store Manager Try To Sell Stolen Merchandise Astoria New York
I went to rent a laptop at this store for the Halloween weekend. I was there on Friday and the store manager Ben told me that he was out of rental laptops for the weekend but that he had one available for sale $500. I almost bought it but then I realized that he wanted to make a cash only deal under the table without proper rent a center paperwork. In other words he tried to persuade me to buy a rac laptop without their knowledge. He even offered to bring the laptop home for me and help me with the installation. I found the situation beyond belief and walked out of the store. What if one day the cops come to my door asking for the goods and I have no paperwork to prove that I paid for it? Devious. What a crook.

When you say no paperwork, there is no paperwork required on cash sales. However, he still needs to give you a receipt if it's a cash sale even though all cash sales are final. If he didn't want to give you a receipt, then that would make me wonder.
