first of all, you said "in the two years i've owned it", and that's your first mistake. number one, you don't own it, rentway does. you are RENTING it...paying for the use of rentway's computer. second, the maximum term for one of our computers is two years. so if you have had the computer for as long as you have stated, you would own it by now. as far as switching it out with a unit that had less memory, i don't agree with that situation...but what do you think equal or lesser value means? if they didn't have the exact same system (which is a definite possibility given that the system you are renting is two years old) then they tried to get you something with equal OR LESSER value to compensate. did you really think that after two years of you pounding away at that computer they were gonig to give you a better one? did you want to extend your rto term with a newer system? if they had to "constantly call and harass" you, (meaning you went past due regularly)i'm pretty sure they didn't want you around much longer as a customer. it's still under warranty, call gateway and let them deal with it...
