I ordered the 'free trial' of the RenuvaDerm RenuvaSkin and RenuvaEye on 3/29/15 from the link on their ad online.  The only cost was supposed to be the shipping and handling ($4.95 & $5.95), which I paid with my credit card.  I received email confirmations of my orders within moments of payment and received a shipping confirmation via email the next day.  I only ordered the 'free trial' to try it out because I couldn't afford to buy the product outright but had seen good things about it on TV and the web.  I am a 55 year old woman, I wanted to see if a face cream could actually reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

I received the product a few days later and began to use.  I did see some results, but had no intention of buying more.  In fact, I commented to my daughter that I had received similar results from other products that I can buy inexpensively at the drugstore.

Fast forward to this morning when I open my credit card bill to send my payment.  I was shocked by the balance and when I reviewed the itemization I quickly saw way.  In addition to the two shipping fee charges, I was also billed on 4/12 $94.57 for Mondern Nu Skin and on 4/13 $89.47 for RenuvaEye.

I immediately called the customer service number provided at the bottom of the email confirmations.  I was on hold for only a few minutes, when the customer service rep came on the phone I explained that I had been over charged for the free trail and needed to be reimbursed.  I provided my name, zip code and verified my address.  She found my order and then said that I had not been overcharged.  She proceeded to inform me that the 'free trial' was only for 14 days and if I didn't contact them before that 14 days was up, I was charged the full cost of the products I received.

I told the rep that I did not agree to that and demanded a refund.  She said that the charges were non-refundable and basically told me tough luck.   I had to pay my credit card bill but I cannot afford to spend that money.  I do not recall any mention of this from the ad, but even if I missed it, I also did not receive any reminder/notification/warning/disclaimer, nothing to let me know after the order was placed that there was a time limit to notify them if I didn't want to pay the charge.  They had my email and used it on three different notifications, there was no reason not to send more.

I told the rep that this was a rip off.  I have no recourse, there is no way for me to get my money back.  But as soon as I got off the phone I Googled 'customer complaints for RenuvaDerm' and this Ripoff Report site was the first to come up.  I will be submitting to any other sites and blogs that I can find regarding this issue.  Any benefits of this product are totally negated by the underhanded, dishonest way they go about selling it.  Please spread the word so some other folks can be warned.
