Resort Resales Bill Elis Manager Scammed me out of $600 to resell my Time Shares in Anaheim, CA Las Vegas Nevada
I was contacted on Dec 15, 2007 by Bill Elis asking if I wanted to sell my Time Shares. I own two in Anaheim, CA and he stated he had a buyer looking to purchase a block of Time Shares. I fell for this and sent him $600 dollars for the purpose of deed transfer. I was FAXed information showing the two Time Shares with sale price included. I called in Jan to follow-up on the sale and was assured everything was proceeding along and it would be 60 work days to complete. To date, nothing heard and no answer at the 866.735.0044 number. Their FAX number is active, but who knows where it goes to. Their website is not active. Shame on me for not checking this individual out before falling prey to this scam.
