Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had an outstanding balance with the IRS from 2003 for over 15,000.00, and my wife and I decided to retain the law offices of Roni Lynn Deutch for help. We were told that by representing us, they ( the law offices of Roni Lynn Deutch)may be able to help us reduce our balance.

What actually occurred was that they simply set up an agreed payment plant with the IRS to pay back the total amount due in monthly payment that would be sent to the firms office. The charge for this service was 2,000. dollars.

We paid a 1,000 dollar up front retainer for help. The firm received the funds and began immediately sending requests of written confirmation on our case, including payment for the service. The letters were relentless, and we became suspicious about the potential intent of the law office of Roni lynn Deutch. This is my opinion.

When we called to discuss further payment with the company we were told no action could be taken on our benefit until the total 2,000 was paid.We became further disillusioned with the firm.

My wife and I decided we would cancel our agreement with the company and handle our own tax situations directly with the IRS.

We requested that a refund be made to us directly for the money we had submitted, since we never returned the signed retainer agreements with our information.

We followed the firms requirements to fax a written request to a Mr. Greg Flahive, and our refund should be sent in 2 or 3 weeks. After this time had passed we didnt receive our money, so we called back and were told the fax had been misplaced, and to refax the request.

We followed their request and again we hoped for a rapid refund since their actually never was a case set up. After 2 more weeks we called back, and were told the case had not been reviewed yet.

In summary, it took eight weeks to get a refund of less than 500. dollars from the firm. We were charged for sending us packets 0f information to fill out in the amount of 540.00 .

We have come to find out the IRS is more than willing to help citizens resolve the tax problems they have without charge.

In my opinion save your time and money and work with the IRS directly. The only promise the firm kept was taking our money quickly, and no assistance with the free tax analysis.

We feel lucky compared to some of the other reporters. In our opinion this company is truly a ripoff.
