If you are here to check out RVICEBOX or Jerry Collins then Heed the warnings in these pages and STAY AWAY! He is the definition of scammer. I too came here a few days after my order was placed and began to suspect there was a problem. Not able to get anyone on the phone including the 24/7 Tech Support and Order Lines, leaving messages not returned. Emailing.
I was told when I ordered my unit he (Jerry) could have it shipped by Friday and usually about 2 to 3 days ship time. When I could not reach him on by Monday evening to simply find if had shipped, I googled him and his company and found this. Tuesday morning, I called and AGAIN left voice mail on Jerry's Cell 501-208-7414 and quite descriptive about what I had found while googling him and his company. Oddly, he called me back in just mins. Claiming he had a death in the family and had been behind.
Reading here about the excuses he had used with others, I said, "Jerry, You sure do have alot of Deaths in the family and funerals to go to. Must be a HUGE family and some horrible luck befalling you and yours". Bottem line after him trying to rant over me ranting right back at him, I mentioned my attorney, His local District attorney and his local news station and I was not a putz he could pull one over on. He said "I did ship your unit out on friday, but after I got your long winded voice mail I "Recalled" the shipment and refunded your CC.
I did within about 10 mins of that conversation recieve an email from Google Wallet that the transaction had been reversed in the amount of $815.00 but as of yet it does not show credited back to my Capital One Card which I immediatly filed a dispute of charges with.
So..... I write all this to say, my experience with Jerry and RVICEBOX was not typical in the other reports in that, I gave back to him word for word and rant for rant, mind you, not cussing or making allegations, only that I believed him to be dishonest and did not wish to take a chance on a sub par product or a company with sooo many complaints against them in such a short time. I then found a company by name of RV Cooling Unit Warehouse that uses BRAND NEW cooler units built by the Ammish and it was only $200 more with an awesome warranty. I googled them and FOUND ZERO negative hits and a ton of satisfied customers. It shipped same day I ordered and they emailed me specifics immediatly.
Again, with my experience with Jerry, I think I got my money back from him simply standing up to him, but if somehow my CC is not credited back as Google Wallet says it will be in 5 to 7 days, I will add an addendum here.
