Back on 8/23/05, I ordered a 3.2l engine for a 2000 Dodge Intrepid from Scott B at S&J. Price was for a COMPLETE engine with 31,000 miles. It was $1353.

I was told also that the engine was in stock and would be to me in 3-5 days. 3 Weeks later I recieved the engine. It was not complete, and had a tag on top that showed 71,000 miles on it. I immediately called them and refused delivery. The engine was returned.

I have since fought with these people for a refund, talking to Scott B, Christine, and Joyce. I have not yet received my $1353.

They also told me that I could not get a refund because they had sent me more parts, 5 total, to make the engine complete. I received 2 of them, and they could not provide me with tracking numbers for the rest.

For 2 more weeks, I fought with Christine about this, and she promised me she would check with her vendors, and see where the other 3 parts were.

It is now 10/14, 6 weeks later, I have no refund, have called many, many times, have left many, many messages and have not gotten a response.

This place BY FAR has the WORST customer service I have ever seen. DO NOT deal with this company-- look at their other ripoff reports and check them out on BBB.com. They almost have 300 complaints against them.

I am very frustrated and am tired of trying to deal with them. The fraud investigations division of the Saratoga Springs Police has been contacted, as well as a lawyer and soon the New York Attorney Generals office.

P>S> This also cost me 60/hr for 2 1/2 weeks 8 hours a day to have a bay in my shop tied up with an immovable car. I had to buy another engine to get the car done, so technically, I am out $2700!!!

Finally Got my Refund!!

After almost 8 weeks, and after many phone calls, I got a full refund back for my engine. I nearly had to get the US army involved to do it! It took calls to S & J from my bank, the BBB, and the local police to get it done. I would NEVER again even consider doing any type of buisness with these people. Their customer service is terrible, they give you the run around, and lie to you. This is one of those companies that should not be in business.
