Bought a computer clean-up software package from a company on the internet. I was asked to allow them access to my computer for the installation process, which I did, they were McAfee approved, so as a trusting soul and said, go ahead.

The cost up front was $29.95 per year, as the installation was going on, and the person I was dealing with corrected some problems from thier end on my machine, they started to try and convince me to buy larger packages for for over $275, as I kept saying NO, they kept coming down on thier price, till they came down to $99, for the same package mind you....thought I was tring to buy a car, or something.  Took me 10 minutes to tell them I wanted to cancel the session, finally I got control back, and got off the site as fast as I could. I do have the App on my openning screen, things seem to be O.K. (I hope)

Now the clincher, when I looked at my checking account the next day, instead of $29.95 taken out, thier was $39.90 taken out. I tried callling them, is a wining wistileing sound. I have been ripped off, I was told of no other charges, loved to know what the extra $9.95 was for they stole from me. I believe they are based in China, hope and pray they did not get any of my personal information!
