I received a letter in the mail claiming to be from a 57 year old church that could pray for me and my family and my prayers would be answered. I sent the first prayer request in with no money because it didnt really ask fro anything that is why I thought this was ligit. Well two weeks later I got another letter in the mail asking for more prayer requests but this time I needed to send money because of scriptures about tithing and receiving it back 10 fold.

Luckly I thought to research this on the net and I came across an article written in a news paper in Tulsa OK where the church is suppose to be located. In this article I learned that there is no such church and it is just a po box. The mastermind behind this lives in Beverly Hills in a 2.2 million dollar home in which he surrounds himself with luxury and classic cars. I am a mother of three boys and a wife to a hard working husband and father.

We recently relocated to los angeles for a job and in the hope that our lives we be better. If I was not educated in scams i would have become a victum of this heartless person. I am a christian and beleive that God does take care of us and when we need a little extra prayer we should embrace where ever you can receive it. This man is working off the insecurities and vunerable people that are looking for that extra help and it is shameful. he has grossed millions each year he has done this and has avoided paying any taxes claiming he is a nonprofit originization. well all he does is profit. he is also giving all st matthew churchs' horrible reputations.

My hope is that this and the other letters people have posted will help stop this horrible human (if you can call him that) being Thank you for your time.

I have decided to sent back all the nonsense that was included in my propaganda packet, with the exception of my home address, using their postage-paid envelope. If you decide to follow this idea, remember to REMOVE YOUR ADDRESS FROM THE RETURN ENVELOPE! Cut out the address and use paper from the mailing and repair the hole you cut. Then stuff all their junk into the postage-paid envelope and send it back to them. Postage-paid envelopes are only charged to the originator when they are returned, so at least they'll take a bit of a financial bite, and you will feel some vindication for being targeted for a scam. Peace.
