SALLIE MAE ripoff, dishonest billing WILKES-BARRE Pennsylvania
I had called to cancel my automatic payment withdrawl from them. I was told that everything was canceled and I was all set. Then they still tried to take out the payment 3 times from my account, after the guy I spoke to said everything was canceled.
I have been calling to try to get this straightened out several times and gotten no where even with the supervisors. I had faxed my bank statement and a letter explaining I was not told that Feb. payment would still be taken out of my account and requested a refund of the $75. They denied my request saying it was not there fault and not their job to tell me it takes 5-7 days to cancel the automatic withdrawal.
I talked to 2 guys named harry, sam, and one woman gloria they were no help at all! Including the supervisors I spoke too. They did not care at all they had just stole $75 from me!
