Expect: Scam that will take your money and not call you back!

My husband and I attended a seminar for a free 2 night stay at a resort in our area, open minded at to what this company had to offer. Our first big clue should have been that the gentleman running the show flipped out on another guest for using his phone during the show. I now realize that having us put our phones away was in order to keep us from looking up their information!

We fell into the scheme, and purchased the services they were offering. When it came time to pay, I had to run to the bank because they pushed the use of a cashiers check. For such a large amount, looking back we wish we had just used one of our credit cards so that we could have cancelled the transaction. They run to the bank, and you can count that money as a loss.

The next day after the seminar we made some phone calls about our concerns, since they give you only a couple of days to cancel, and you are unable to see the product until after the cancellation window. Meeting with the owner of the company we were reassured with our original decision, with a promise of "we are extending your right of recession through November 10, 2013 without any penlites or fees." Steve Thomas, SaveMore Vacations owner, told us he would love us to try the product several times before making a final decision, and added 6 months to our cancellation deadline so we were able to do so.

Several times we have wanted to use their services and found them to be a waste of our time. Doing a couple of minutes of research you can get the same prices they are charging you to receive. What a surprise that when we called to inquire about the steps to receive our money back, the telephone lines went to voicemails every time with no phone calls back. We were given several contacts within the company, and not one of them called us for weeks. The owner when we finally got in touch with him, gave us excuses and said he would call us back, now here we are. Still no contact. We call and leave messages several times a week and would not be surprised if he waits until November 11th to contact us, the day after our cancellation extension, with a "sorry too late"!
