Spouse and I signed up for John Becks Free & Clear program to the Tune of 10,000.00 (ish). Even with some of the free coaching

we felt totally unprepared to buy properties and then invested in extended coaching.

All in all we probably shelled out about 13 K on that. Then we felt we just had to jump in and get out feet wet. Purchased 3 vacant

properties at Tax Lein Sales online. Couldn't GIVE them away if I wanted to. In the meantime we kept getting assessed for lawn

maintenance and the like. Costing us $$ to own these lots.

To make matters worse and in a last ditch effort to recover some of our spent monies we purchased a home out of state for 20K.

We spent another 30+ thousand in fixing it up and were relieved when able to rent it out. We hired a management company near

the home and they handled everything.

But then after a short 6 or so weeks the Renter quit paying rent and basically sat in that house free while I paid management fees,

taxes and repaid the loan I had to take out. Took about 5 months to get her out and then was left w/damages along with cockroaches.

And of course we never did hear again from John Beck's company.
