In December 2009 I contacted Alex at Scannamania for a repair on 2 Realistic PRO34 scanners. These are special scanners that receive frequencies no longer manufactured on private scanners.

I asked if one can be repaired and use other for parts if needed. He agreed and I shipped them postal, insured. They arrived safely and about a month later I contacted him. He said he needed $50 for labor and will check them out.

I sent payment on March 03, 2010

Time passed on and I contacted him again. He was very short about giving the status of repairs, but did mention about an additional $100 to complete repairs.

I began feeling unsure about his intensions after asking for more money at that point and advised him that once repairs were completed and radios returned I will pay balance of $100 immediately. He agreed to that arrangement.

I then explained specifically in detail to contact me by phone when repairs were completed. I gave him my phone number and again explained the importance of informing me of shipping prior to sending. This was to make sure they could be tracked and properly insured for safety. I would feel more safe about sending the balance due as well if he followed directions. I was told by him that this would be done as I asked.

Time went on again without hearing from him and it happen to slip from my memory for a couple months. This caused me to loose my e-mail account we communicated with too. I managed to do some hunting around and located his e-mail address and opened another e-mail address for myself.

I e-mailed him immediately following the issue above by asking where my radios were. This was long after him saying that they would be done soon. I am able to stay calm through this BS he has given for a while now because I wanted my property returned.

He then responds back by e-mail telling me he sent them back already. Ever get that immediate feeling that you wish they were in arms reach of you. I asked for a packing list, tracking number, date, receipt, anything to show that he was not full of crap. This guy is obviously very stupid or a full time crook and maybe both. The phone call obviously didn't happen either as you see.

Get this stuff!

He said he threw the shipping paperwork away because I did not contact him. Then next said, he stopped making calls to customers and also just ships their stuff back with no record keeping. He said that once he completes the work, pops in in the mail box, correct address or not he is no longer responsible for it. He even tried to blame me for it getting lost and then mentioned he don't care where a package ends up and will not attempt to locate it.

I tried to get some kind of truth to come out of his mouth by quoting his own words he wrote in e-mails to me. This proved he was fabricating and never sent the radios at all. He never intended to return my items and they probably ended up in a meth lab for payment.

He even had to nerve to use an excuse I was harassing him. He could not figure out the reason I was still in contact with him was because he did not do what he was suppose to do. He had my property and service fees and I had nothing.

Why all the talk about refunding me?  You emailed me 3 days ago to say you got the stuff so why the dissapearing act?  Pay your 115$ you owe and replace the scanner you bartered me or pay me 150$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This email confirms that Brad Kisela has received both his scanners back.  It will be postred on various sites for all to see.  Now, I would expect that he mans up and pays me 115$ for getting  2 scanners back and one working over and above the actual transaction.

Whatever the merchant says about having sent me my property and money is a complete lie. His promise was to send me the repaired item and I would pay him. Simple as that, but he never sent it to me or notified me or send me an invoice, nothing. If he did send it to me, why did he not request balance of payment. This is such a bunch of childish BS I have had to deal with by this Alex C. Peter about this property he still has of mine. Scannamania ( Alex C. Peter ) has never sent me anything back. If I had my property returned, I would be happy and I would not have to deal with this problem any longer. This is my goal, to get what is mine and pay him his balance after I have checked the repairs and get on with my life. He just rambles on and on and on and does not have any idea about how easy this problem is to solve. I have been very fair with this guy and it really surprises me that he continues to want to argue about this. He has not done what he said he would do and that is the bottom line. He told a huge lie about returning my property because he still has it. Now why should anyone trust this person when he has been caught in his own lie. He nneds to grow up and step back and realize he is causing all the problems. Give me my property, so he can get his balance payment and I can stop having to listen to this. Gawd, driving me up a wall.

Ive sent this customer back his money and a working scanner, and a replacement scanner,and I paid for it myself. He now owes me 115$

There is over 70 emails now about this useless issue. 

I went and revamped the web page in order to clarify everything. 

Simply put, he agreed to pay me 115$ in 2 payment and give me a scanner to keep, so that I would repair another of his scanners. 

He sent 2, I was given 1in a barter, I fixed 1 to ship, I didnt get my balance when I shipped back 1, then he wanted 200$ for whining and crying loss.  I did him 1 better.  I fixed the other, ready to ship that other, he wont pay his 65$ balance still.  So, I will keep it till he does. 

Bottom line, he is to get back a good working same model scanner.  Thats all that matters.

I sent it 9 months ago.  Only keep proof for 90 days.  never ever had a problem before meeting Brad Kisela.  Most honest people wouldnt come back after 13 months.  if you are suspicious, have a look at him... Oh, the picture of 2 scanners is self explanatory.  Just read it.

To the owner of scannamania , im an impartial party , i dont know either you nor the complainant .

I read all reports , went to your site and read that as well , i at first agreed with you that the techno geek was probably just an impossible to please customer .

But your own rebuttals changed my mind , you state on here that you will send him his scanner when he pays you , you then state you have already sent it but have provided no proof of that. Then you show pictures of "His scanner" that once again , you will be willing to send if he pays you first .. your offer to send a " 2nd scanner" is a little suspicious when you obviously still have the 1st scanner ( as indicated by the photos) .

This customer refused to pay his outstanding balance due to us so we are witholding the return of his scanner.  Not a big deal.  He is  bullying us all over the Internet to get his way by attempting to ruin our reputation.  An obvious scammer trying to get out of paying for his repairs.  Most of what he posted is not true, and manipulated to favor himself. There is always 2 sides to all stories.  To my knowledge, no seller would ship anything with out getting paid first.  Never believe anyones one-sided story.  He is presently being investigated for deformation of character, libelous remarks, threats of borderline violence and other crimes in Washington state.  he goes by the name of Brad Kisela in Spokane.  He was told about 10 times to pay his debt and he will get his scanner back.  I seriously dont understand why he just doesnt pay. What more can we do? We will just hold onto it till he does pay.    :)
