In Nov 2001, I made an order for merchandise from Sears. In December, I received 3 boxes from Sears. I refused 2 boxes, as I knew I had not ordered 3 items. The united states postal service returned these boxes. On my December 15,2001 statemnt from sears credit, I was billed for all three items. I called the number next to the charge, and was advised it can take 3 weeks to be credited. My nextstatement in January showed no credits, I called again, I called the credit department, they advised I would see credit on my next statement. I have made 12 phone calls, placed on hold for hours, and this is still not resolved. I did finally get credit for 1 item almost 2 months later, but they did not adjust the finance charges, and am still waiting for the other credit. This is about $47.00 and I have spent more than $47.00 worth of my time talking to STUPID people trying to resolve it!!!!!!!!!!!!In addition, my son returned a camcorder after having it for a month or so, no credit appeared on his statement. He called and sears wants a copy of the return receipt before they will credit him...So much for the guarantee that if it is charged on a Sears card there will not be a problem. We are also paying for Sears merchandise we do not have. No matter who you talk to at Sears, they always advise you to call another department!!!!!What a rip-off, what can we do???

In order to resolve your billing dilemma, please contact Sears National Customer Relations who will do all they can to resolve your matter to your satisfaction. Sears is a great company and I know that others within the company may not always give their 100% sometimes, but there are those who do and National Customer Relations is the cream of the crop.
