Sears ripoff, did no stand behind warranty on Calypso Washer. Machine was repaired over 6 times in 1 year Timonium Maryland
Very dissapointed with Calypso Washer. Machine was repaired 6 times within a year. Warranty states that if machine is repaired 4 times or more in a year then machine will be replaced. Machine was never replaced, they tried to rebuild it instead.
When you call customer service they will tell you a a technicain needs to submit request for new washer, but the techinician tells you to contact customer service. There is little to no communication with these people, they transfer your call all over, make you wait 2 - 3 weeks for a service appointment and when they do come to fix the equipment it breaks in two weeks.

Class Action lawsuit pending

There is a class action lawsuit currently pending for Calypso washers. Take a look online to see if that can provide you some recompense. I got Sears to take my Calypso back at full sales price on a tradein on another washer. Work with the Sears management, not the local store, and mention the lawsuit. Good luck.
