Seattle Coffee Direct - Coffeeroasterdirect.com Name is misleading as company is not in Seattle, but Illinois and ad is set up to make you think you're getting 5 things for $5 Evanston Illinois
I answered the ad showing two bags of coffee, 2 stainless steel coffee carriers, and two ceramic mugs. Ad set up like you're getting 5 for $5, but it's $5 each.
I thought the company was in Seattle because of the name, but I only found out that it was a grocery store in Illinois through UPS tracking. I tried to cancel the order, but was told that I'd have to pay for the shipping to me and the return shipping. Since the charge was $25.00 it didn't seem worth the shipping costs (amounting to half the cost of the order to return the stuff). I used one bag and then opened the other today and it is rancid. Since it's Sunday, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call them, although I did leave them a voice message that I wanted a refund.
The coffee is no better that what I get in bulk at Sam's and certainly more expensive. The mugs are cheap and can be bought at any dollar store for 50 cents each. The stainless steel mugs are very cheap also, and they hold very little coffee.
When I tried to log into my account, I had to have them mail me a password, because I didn't create an account to begin with. I was auto-mailed a link with a password.
When I used the link it was to: coffeeroastersdirect.com/login.php
