In June my air conditioner broke and I called Secure Home Warranty, who I had been paying monthy for coverage. This was on a Friday and I was told that it would be the next week before they could get someone there but I could have someone come and if the claim was approved be reimbursed. Becuase of the hot temperature and my health that was what I opted to do.
The repairman came and fixed my a/c and the following week I submitted my claim to Secure Home Warranty. About a week and half later was told that it had been approved and sent a claims reimbursement form to complete. I completed the form and sent it back to them on June 23. At that time I was told it could take up to 30 days to receive reimbursement.
Six weeks passed and I still hadn't received a check so I contacted Secure Home Warranty. I was told due to some issue way back in February payments were taking longer. I asked to speak to someone about when to expect my payment and was told that Angela would return my call. Two days went by and no return call. I call again and once again Angela isn't in the offce and was told that she would return my call.
When I finally did get to speak with Angela (after much insistance) I was promised that my check would go out immediately that Friday and she would call me when it did. That Friday arrived and no call from Angela. I called them and Angela had left for the day and they had no way to reach her.
I called again today and the second I gave them my phone number I was conveniently disconnected and upon returning the call have been on old now for 20 minutes.
This company is a fraud and a rip-off and the best thing that could happen would be for them to be shut down forever!!
