SellandRecycle.com A SCAM San Francisco Internet
SellandRecycle.com promises to pay top dollar for your used cell phones. They send you an envelope to mail your phones to them. They email you when they recieve your phone. They email you with an offer to purchase your phone. When you accept their offer (which was a decent offer), they email you a notification that they have sent you a Wells Fargo check.
It all seems so legit....until the check never comes. So I emailed them two times, and twice they emailed back: "Oh sorry you didn't get the check. We will have to send you another one. Please confirm your address."
Still seems legit, but 6 months later, after numerous additional emails and calls to the toll free number (which was never answered by a real person, and I had left messages), I received nothing, nada, no response, no call backs, no check. Complete silence on the part of SellandRecycle.com.
They even have a Facebook page which to which I left a personal message. I found a private number on the page - (619) 268-3024, but NOTHING.
So...my conclusion is that this company is nothing but a scam. Don't use them. Too many people have had problems with them. I only wished I would have googled the reviews first.
