AJ Groeber comes to the Medical Board from the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, where he has served as Executive Director since March 2013.  Groeber holds BS/BA degrees from Ohio University and earned his MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.  A more unqualified individual to run the Ohio State Medical Board could not be found.

Senator Shannon Jones has known, along with her colleagues in the Ohio Legislature, that the Ohio Medical Board has needed reforms for over 20 years - it's not just about maternal home visits.  Because of false physician complaints, there are currently stacks of false cases with physician licenses taken for even 'making too much of boys being boys care.'  Saying 'No' to bad care in Ohio gets a woman MD's license suspended.  Anita Steinbergh DO - who led the ad hoc Search Committee for this ridiculous appointment - can't allow women MDs to get blood work in Ohio.  AJ Groeber knows nothing about women's blood work, or women's health - that's the idea.  And he gets access to patient, and physician medical records, via HIPAA - without a medical degree or training.

Most of these falsely accused physicians only want their licenses back, and a one paragraph statement from the Ohio Medical Board that there was misinformation leading to a false action - for who can sue the Ohio State Medical Board and survive?  But Shannon Jones thinks that more lies, and more incompetence, is the answer.

So now we have a Senator Shannon Jones 'approved this message' Executive Director of the sham Ohio Medical Board, a guy who knows nothing about medicine or even medical terminology - to hide all the false cases so that the Medical Board does not have to admit the problems.  Shannon Jones will admit on the phone that these cases are to be covered up - so that damages will not have to be paid the physicians or their families.  What really goes on at the Ohio Medical Board is confidential.

Senator Jones wants to extend the statute of limitations on rape cases - while forgetting the statute of limitations on false actions by the Ohio State Medical Board to 'make the quotas' of bad physicians needed to justify the line item expense of physician investigations in Ohio.  If Shannon Jones ever really needs medical care,  it won't be the physicians on the Ohio Medical Board who help her or the Executive Director.  And it certainly won't be Anita Steinbergh DO.
