i hired Shafer contracting services this year on August 16th to do some repairs around the house, because I was moving. Dean, the contractor sent one of his contractors out named Lee, Lee quoted me 55/hr and said he would have to get the repairs from Lowes or Home Depot. And that Dean pays for all the things i will need to repair my home. including, some closet doors I ordered. Lee said the closet doors would take to take like, 3 to 5 days. To come in Lee also and made a list of what was needed. So i agreed to let him do the job because he said the job would take 2-3 days. To finish. First off, everyday he was late and every time he arrived he always had an excuse. Lee was always going on lunch an hour after he arrived at my home. Which was usually early morning. By the second day I contacted Dean about these issues which he seem to ignore my complaints... i also ask Dean if there was any warranties on any of the work he text back and said yes! 1 year. I've asked both Dean and Lee.. repeatedly, for a itemized list they both have refused to give it to me..To-date; they still haven't finish the job , I also, ordered some doors well over three weeks ago and Dean refuses to answer me with regards to why he charged me and i still haven't received the doors amongst, other things , my bank informed me that Dean cashed the checks in the sum of 2,000 dollars..Dean has also refused to return phone calls, Dean text me on 9-13-16. Asking me to send the receipts because he soil the paper work on his desk with coffee. In which i have refused. Because, he got paid and still has not finish the job. May i also add that the receipts are invoice look's bogus no letter head. Lee, the alleged contractor under this man name DEAN. Only wrote the total of what i paid him. And no hourly beak down. Are how much i paid for supply's. Lee, also wrote on the receipt that he put new locks on the door.. that's a lie. He put the old locks back on the same door. The door knob is hanging off. To make matters worse. He took back all the parts that was needed to finish the job. .Through out the ordeal. i made Dean aware of what Lee was doing. Again he is yet to response to any of my phone calls are emails.
