Sierra Financial Management Group, subsidiary Of Switzerland Trust Corporation sent a bogus check for 1,790 wanting me to deposit in my account Ripoff Halifax Nova Scotia
On Tuesday September 5,2006,I received a letter in the mail in an envelope that had no return or sender address.It was a check in it.I could see it through the window.Addressed to me,with the correct spelling of my name and everything!
Of course,that led to wonder where it had come from,seeing as though i definitely wasn't expecting it.I tore it open frantically to reveal a check that said pay $1,790.00 to me!The name on the check stated Eastway Aviation LLC with an address of 101 Hering Drive,Ronkonkoma,NY 11779 1-204-951-3464.
I called that number and left a message on North Fork Banks answering machine.I left my name,date,time and stated the purpose of my call.I called the 1-306-880-1942 and i also got a recording.Ileft the same info.
I received a call back from a male,after I had taken the check to a cashing establishment where an employee informed me of the scam and how I'd be responsible if I cashed the check.While conversating with the male who called back,I let him know I knew it's a scam,he denied knowing or hearing anything about it.He was trying to talk with an accent.Before I hung up in his face,I let him know that this time the joke was on them because I don't have any money to be scammed out of!!!!
