Complaint Review: Skyway Towing & Recovery - St. Petersburg Florida

George K Rahdert (Raw Dirt), the State of Florida registered agent and President of Skyway Towing and Recovery runs an operation posing as an auto towing and 'recovery' service. 'Raw Dirt', in reality runs a quasi-legal auto theft operation targeting low income, tourists and unsuspecting citizens.

Before we get too far along here, let the record show that the State of Florida has no less than 22 Lis Pendens orders against 'Raw Dirt'. For the uninitiated, a Lis Pendens order is a legal notice from a lienholder to foreclose on a parcel of real property.

Most of the properties 'Raw Dirt' owned or more accurately, slum-lorded are located in economically distressed areas of Pinellas County. 'Raw Dirt' installs 'Skyway Towing' NO PARKING signs in locations any reasonable person cannot see when parking on his slum lorded or in-process foreclosure properties. He 'soft-contracts' with local low-income or homeless individuals to report when your car is parked on his property, if that is even the case, given the flurry of foreclosures 'Raw Dirt' is involved with..

Minutes later, 'Raw Dirts' lackeys, or more precisely, 'Raw Dirts' cerebral rectal inversion specialist progeny or other relatives sharing sociopathic genetic material with George (Raw Dirt) Rahdert, arrive to 'recover' your vehicle and squirrel it away on a locked, razor wired junkyard until this quasi-criminal operation decides to answer your voluminous calls to a 3$ Goodwill answering machine.

Once the victim actually receives a call-back, you will be awaiting what Skyway Towing and Recovery confidently states is an 'invitation' to their junkyard at some non-specific time in the future. Be forewarned, ladies, that your bringing along a body-guard or other person interested in your personal protection to 'Raw Dirts' junkyard on the wrong side of the tracks will be met with aggravated behavior by the junkyard operators that is targeted to eject you and your protector from the junkyard lot along with threats to your person, threats to your property and threats to your constitutional rights.

I had read a little about this operation before traveling to the junkyard. I hold a concealed carry permit, and so did the person accompanying me. We were both carrying legally concealed weapons and suggest you do so as well when dealing with these miscreants. I paid the $132 fee to get my rental car back, the 'operator' (ie; Thug) did not have change, so I was shorted $2. The operator (ie;Thug) did have a 3 inch diameter roll of $100 dollar bills to show me though. Interesting. No doubt his d**k is as long as his money wad.

In summary, 'Raw Dirt', Skyway's' operator whom has speculative control and possession of downtown slum properties and whom can legally post 'TOW AWAY' signage and legally record 'TOW AWAY' agreements on his behalf with the cognizant state towing regulatory authorities is running a highly profitable operation using his slum properties under foreclosure notice and within opportunist proximity of popular downtown venues while using the downtrodden to call him about citizens parking in areas that for all practical purposes are not properly posted, and even if they were, 'Raw Dirt' could still seize their property, rental cars or not, with a very specious legal argument that should be tested for validity.

I am always incredulous on discovering a scam like this. If the Raw Dirt's of the world would simply apply as much effort towards positive pursuits as an operation so inherently slimy as this scam, the social fabric of our culture would improve.

But, alas poor reader, keep in mind that one in 21 people have sociopath tendencies.
