There was a Pit Bull for sale of the amount of one-hundred dollars on their website that I was told on 11-23-2006 on the telephone that was at the residence of the company that I could buy for the sum of twenty-five dollars because I was a local to the area by one individual of the company and to call the next day and I did so, but she informed me that it had been sold by her husband. The day before that she said she would hold it for me until 11-24-2006 which was the following day. I called back to another contact number on the website and it was her husband who informed me that he was sure the dog was still at the residence after his wife said he had sold the animal.
I told him that I talked with his wife and he seemed fine with that. He replied, "No the dog is still at my house". Then he started to talk rapidly and stumble over his words and told me he would beep her on her pager and return my call promply in which he did. He asked me abrubtly, "Did my wife tell you the dog was sold?" My reaponse to that was, "Yes she told me you sold it and a few minutes ago you said it was still there." He replied," We have another dog named Rosco." My reply to that was, "No. She was on the telephone with me navigating me through the website to the EXACT dog." From that point on he was stumbleing over his words and abruptly hung up on me.

If Mr. James of Port St. Joe, Fl was so interested in purchasing Rosco from our Kennel he would have taken the 20 minute ride to our Kennel, meet Rosco and Pay the $50.00 fee, as stated in the local classified add, not on the web site, he would own the dog, but instead he made the decesion to wait until the next day. I run a business and hear alot of people say that I will be there tomorrow, to never hear from them again, all Mr. James had to do to guarentee that he would be the owner of Rosco was to place a small deposit to hold him, My business is first come first serve, deposits hold until balance is paid, and you are guaranteed the joy of the dog, but Mr. James had the choice and he made the decesion to wait, he filed this report because of his wrong decesion and is mad about it, but I offered to help find another dog suitable for his family, because Rosco was a rescue from the Animal Shelter and we are in this for the dog, not the people. I am sure if Mr. James put as much time into looking for a suitable dog from an Animal Shelter as he has trying to make our Kennel look bad he would have plenty of dogs by now.
