Placed a DVD set order online and received an email confirmation immediately stating something about your free trial membership. I called immediately and asked about this and the operator stated that you receive a trial membership and will be billed $29.95 a month thereafter the free 7-day trial. I went back online to check and it is on a sidebar where nobody looks that is not noticeable at all. I canceled my order immediately and said I didn't want to do business practices with an unethical company like that.
They charged me $1 the next day for the trial membership and then the next day I received an email stating that my order had NOT been cancelled. I called and confirmed cancellation and they said it had been. 2 days later I receive an email stating my order has been shipped and I look in my checking account and the $27.21 had been deducted from my account.
Both of these were UNAUTHORIZED charges. I called them (the call center is in the Phillippines) and said I had cancelled my order numerous times and confirmed and they said they would not credit my account. They said I have to wait until I receive the DVD set and return it myself. They are a very unethical company that is ripping people off.
