In May of 2014 a rep from Sooner Publishing MCI approached Kim's Vietnamese Cuisine about advertising in their quarterly publicationg. From here it all goes down hill. The rep, a Ty something, did not bother to get anything in writing to state that Stanley Rains was an auhtorized signer for any contracts. Furthermore this rep was told that Kim's Vietnamese Cuisine only wanted to be in 1 quarter publication. Somehow we were put in 4 quarterly publications, and the $250 payment for the one publication became a down payment for 4 publications. The next issue was that there was never any paperwork left behind or mailed. There was never any ad copy provided for approval. The first time that any such material was given was via emailin January, full 7 months later. When I tried to contact the company the would never give me the name of anyone with whom to speak to. I left numerous messages before I finally got to speak with someone. When I finally did, the man who I spoke to (apparently his name is Dan and he is the GM there) became irrate and hung up on me. I then sent them a letter asking for any documents that they may have sent any the corresponding dates of when they sent them. I never received an reply, so I then emailed them. After emailing them, they threatend to file harrassment charges against me and file a law suit against me. I then called them to get the name of who I would need to fax a notarized letter to, to let them know that I was an authorized agent for Kim's Vietnamese Cuisine. They hung up on me twice, and on the second incident, they once again threatened to file harrassment charges against me. Not once did I make threats or become anygry, I simply wanted the name of a person to fax a letter to to let them know that I am authorized. It is funny how when they tried to sell the advertising program, they did not worry about who was ow was not authorized to speak on Kim's behalf, but now that I will not simply roll over, they want every i dotted, and every t crossed. My advice to anyone who comes in contact with this company is to run far away.

There is a signed contract for four issues to run. There was a deposit given and there is clearly a balance left owed shown on the contract that is signed. Both parties were present when the contract was signed so both parties were aware this was being signed and they certainly gave us all the ad information we needed to build the ad. Futhermore the ad was sent to Kim's and sent back for changes they wanted. It was sent back and then approved by Kim's Vietnamese. We are no different than any other company that has a signed contract. We held up our end of the contract and we expect our customers to hold up their end of the contract as well.
I know for a FACT, that on one particular day one of the office employees was speaking to one of the owner's at Kim's and she was screaming at her so loud I could hear her across the room over the phone. She had the office girl so upset she was crying. i had to walk across the room and take the phone away from her and explain that we do not have to take that kind of verbal abuse from anyone and yes I hung up on the person because they were being verbally abusive.
I can remember more than once listening to you as well raise your voice so when you sit there saying that you never got angry etc. over the phone.......well.......i just don't agree with you.
Bottom line.........there is a signed contract for services that were rendered and the company owes money. Period.
