I would not really recommend sprint to be a long distance company for anyone since I was INSIDE all of the mess and saw firsthand how horrible it is but I can go ahead and give you advice on how to fix your problem. I just recently (couple of weeks) quit working for sprint so I am sure the policy has not changed so here goes. Call sprint customer service at 1-800-877-4646, then when you get a representative (make sure you don't call on monday or you will have to wait for hours). I suggest saying you are your father (saying his name is your name) or you will not be able to fix anything. This is the only security measure sprint uses (nice to know he's so safe against fraud huh?) And simply ask them to rerate the calls made to india on a plan called 2KX (global family savings). They should do this for you as long as you tell them you were supposed to be on an international plan. It looks like, to me, that whichever representative set up the account put him on a domestic long distance plan. As long as you do this within 60 days of the bill date, you should get your rerate. If one rep says they cannot do it, they are lieing and you should just call back. Good luck.
