St. Joseph Medical Center "St. Joe's Hospital" Valet Service is a scam, they claim damage was preexisting... Tacoma Washington
On Monday November 24, 2008 at about 6PM I dropped my car for valet service. They handed me the bottom portion of the ticket and I went on my way.
When I was done I went back to retrieve my car. I got in it and left. I noticed that they had left the top part of the ticket on my keys. I was looking at their pre-inspection area and they marked that I have damage on all four sides of my car. My car is a 2009 and brand new.
Upset about the alleged condition of my car I called valet to speak with a supervisor. One was not available. I then spoke with an attendant. He said that if I wanted to file a claim I could. File a claim? I have no damage on my car before or after. He finally rudely asked me where I got that ticket. I told him that the valet attendant left it there. He seemed very surprised.
Still bothered by this I called the Manager back and was asking her the same questions. She said that they are not sure why that was, perhaps it was dirt! She also wanted to know how I got the ticket. She also said that they might have inspected another car on that ticket and stuck it on my keys by accident. On the front of the ticket it is clear it is for my car.
I am amazed (not surprised) that the valet attendants mark damage on these tickets when there is none. I don't know if this so some sort of scam so I just wanted to warn others I don't know what they want to hide. SO BEWARE!
