staples warranty warehouse Stole my laptop Internet
People on this website have been reporting stolen laptops from the staples warehouse. These people have bought extended warranties. Something goes wrong with thier computers and they send then in and never get then back. I am one of these people. I bought a full replacement plan for a three year period after the purchase. It was a HP. It was over seven hundred dollars! The extended full replacement plan cost over three hundred. Then..you've gotta think about the taxes I paid on that much of a purchase!
Well..the staples company told me the warehouse to call and send it in to. I sent it and never got it back. There was even a tracking number on it proving that they received it but couldn't tell me where it was. They ended up giving me a staples gift card in the amount of what the computers original price was. They wouldn't give me back the taxes I spent on it or the three hundred fur the warranty and made me buy another warranty saying that they would fix it in the store next time instead of sending it off. Lucky nothing has gone wrong with this one.
Its a seven hundred dollar Toshiba and the only thing that's happened to it is a virus that Toshibas customer dept.themselves have helped me with. Thier help dept. Is awesome by the way!! A lot better than the warehouse at staples that stole my HP. Staples say that the warehouse is separate and that there was nothing that they could do for me...and the only thing I could do was to file a complaint with the BBB. don't buy an extended warranty from staples if they will have to ship it off somewhere to be fixed!!! Be warned!!!
