I went shopping tonight to buy a pack of CD-Rs and a pack of printing paper.

I have been shopping at this Staples store for the last few years since I've moved here to Indy.

I usually never had any problems with the workers here. The only problem in the past I had was that there were nobody walking around the store to help customers.

Anyhow, tonight, I went to one open cash register to purchase my items.

A black lady named Tondra was working at the cash register. Register #2 if I recall correctly.

She was very unfriendly, cold and had an attitude problem. Typical behavior from these ghetto people.

Anyhow I used my credit card to make my purchase. I swiped my card through the card device, then Tondra asked me rudely for the last four digit of my credit card. I showed her my credit card.

Then she gave me the receipt after it was printed out from the register and NEVER handed me the plastic bags with my CD-R and pack of printing paper.

HOW F*KING RUDE!

Here's what happened next.

She told me to take my shopping basket back to the front door when it's the cash register people's responsibility to take all the stacked shopping baskets back to the front entrance.

What kind of f---king worker would tell a customer to take the shopping basket back to the front entrance!??

So I am going back to this staple store tomorrow, located at 5206 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46254, and going to return the pack of CD-R and pack of printing paper. I'm going to definitely ask for my money back.

No way should my hard-earned $17.09 be shelled out to a chimp at a cash register with an attitude problem in this kind of sh*ty economy. They should be thankful to their customer that we're shopping at their store. Not make a customer do work that chimps themselves should be doing!!!!!

I hope Tondra gets fired in the near future. This POS should not be employed, esp in this time of horrible economy. From now on, I'm not going to shop at this Staples store located at 5206 West 38th Street. Thanks to Tondra, they have lost one steady customer.

PS: Hey Tondra, I hope you get fired from your job you smelly POS!!!!

No to workers with attitude problems

First off, racism was NEVER cool. You stated, "She was very unfriendly, cold and had an attitude problem. Typical behavior from these ghetto people." You had more than enough time to cool off before you got home, which isn't far from these "ghetto" people, since people don't drive out of their way in this kind of economy (sarcasm, if you didn't catch it) . And yet, you state something like the above. Obviously, you were already upset about not receiving help (which you brought up, so don't try denying it). I wouldn't be surprised if you went to the register with an even worse outlook on her than you expressed here. Most Staples do not have a place at the register to set aside customer's baskets. And just because you can carry it in your hand, doesn't mean you should be lazy enough to leave it at the register. It's just like a shopping cart, put it back when finished with it. You're probably the kind of person who leaves a sopping cart in the middle of the parking lot for it to get in the way and possibly cause damage to others vehicles. The last I knew, the person at the register is there to answer questions and scan your items. They are not your slave. And she will still get paid for the time she was there, returning for a refund will not stop her from getting paid. And unless this is an ongoing problem with her, she MAY be fired. Otherwise, she'll still be there. People like you have made the statement "The customer's always right" mute. I've even noticed many companies steering away from this mindset because of people like you. And if you haven't noticed, chimps and humans are primates. In a long enough time line, you and her share a relative.

wow, your right she does work in a service industry and you should be treated with some respect at the least, but the only thing id say she did wrong was ask you to put away your own cart, if u needed a bag, y didnt u ask, u obviously dont think she has an IQ higher than 50, maybe she thought you were going to juggle to your car. Your returning your 17 dollars worth of office supplies because you were rude, shes probably going to think thats hilarious, is your own time worth anything to you, im sure your making a point, but trust me it will be lost, or minimal at best. and allthough every customer counts....it really doesnt when they lose a racist disgruntled customer. allthough I would say you need to check your attitude. and even on the internet racism isnt cool any more.
