I made contact with Huntington Bank in reference to the loan application that was used to finance one of the 2008 Malibus that we purchased, Huntington Bank said that it destroys all loan applications because once the loan is acquired they have no use for the application anymore. We don't believe this story.

Don't you find it odd, how certain business' have all the complaints closed with the BBB and some can never get the complaints closed. I recently filed a complaint with the BBB regarding Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco Texas for lying to me and selling me an MPP policy when I specifically asked for GMPP with a GM discount, as a GM employee discount on two GM cars. The finance man who kindly said he called GM and got my discounted price and asked me to sign on the line. I signed an MPP policy apparently tough poo on my part, I should know that a MPP is not a GMPP right? When questioned by the BBB of Dallas Better Buiness Bureau here is what they said. Response ----------------------- purchased a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, VIN # 1G1ZH57B on May 28th, 2008. This purchase was a cash transaction and my records indicate an MPP service agreement was purchased at that time as well. Coverage has been enforce since May 2008 until it was cancelled by Jamie Tudor in April 2009. was offered to have the warranty coverage transferred to a GMPP policy but she refused stating "GM is going bankrupt". Stonebriar Chevrolets position is it will not repurchase vehicle. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My response to Better Business Bureau of Dallas: liars!!! I have been in contact with someone else to get GMPP StoneBriar told they didn't sell this coverage and if they got it for me they would still have to pro rate for the MPP they did the bait and switch on. If you all close this case, you will be on rip off report too!!! I have a complaint in with the attorney general. They asked me what they could do for me, I told them to trade the policies outright, they said they couldn't do that. They had their opportunity. see rip off report because I am going to post this response on it. I find it strange that everyone thinks it is okay for these bastards to keep my money on not one but two vehicles the finance guy's name was Bernard Brookes, they had to remove him from finance because of too many complaints. BBB gives you five days to respond to emails whenever they decide to email you.

The following letter was sent to Texas Department of Insurance. Regarding: GAP Coverage Violator: Stonebriar Chevrolet 9950 Hwy 121 Frisco, TX. 75035 214-472-5500 Victims: On May 8, 2008 my husband and I went to Stonebriar to purchase two vehicles. My husband's vehicle had to be financed. Apparently his credit was pretty bad, so it took a long time in financing. Brookes, the finance man prepared the paperwork with GAP coverage. I told him that GAP coverage was worthless to us because we are capable of paying for a total loss if there was a difference. He scrugged his shoulders and said that his friend at Huntington bank, did us a favor but was requiring GAP coverage. My husband signed the paperwork, although I was not convinced I figured I would check it out later. In April of 2009 I contacted Old Florida Casuality Company after reviewing the vehicle paperwork where the box is checked that it is against the law to tell someone GAP is required. Old Florida Casualty told me that the transaction was probably videotaped. I checked with the dealer who said know. Old Florida also referred it back to the dealer, where they "prorated" the balance. I also found out they did a bait and switch on the GMPP (General Motors Protection Policy) and sold me MPP (Mechanical Protection Policy.) The dealer said they would send the prorated check to Huntington Bank who unknowingly or knowingly may be involved in banking fraud. Stonebriar should have taken initiative to apologize and give me a full refund, plus interest paid. I was told they removed the finance person from his position from lying to customers. He still works at the dealer. I am convinced they know exactly what happened but are unwilling to correct the mistake. At this point, GM executives, BBB, Stick Bogart from rip off report, and the attorney general have been notified. This letter will also be shared on www.ripoffreport.com. This guy is going to lie, I can guarantee you that. My husband and I both witnessed him say this and he wouldn't be the one willing to take a polygraph. Thank You,

From: JWalker28 Sent: 05/16/2009 03:09 PM EDT To: Stew Low; Patty Faith Cc: Adria MacKenzie Subject: unsatisfied ripped off customer (with a big mouth) This email is regarding Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco Texas: Regarding Bait and Switch of General Motors Protection Plan Unethical Sales Procedures Denial of selling General Motors Protection Plan Ladies and Gentlemen: I have forwarded you this email regarding one of your dealers unethical technics. I went to purchase two GM Chevy Malibus in May 2008. Unfortunately, I had to price the GM car with an extended bumper to bumper with 100K because I was comparing it against a Honda of better quality. The salesperson and finance person where notified I need a super deal and my GM discount on my GMPP plan. I thought the price was high and I was told GM set the price higher because of the new technology on the car. I walked out with 2 cars and was told I had GMPP with 60/100 miles. After reviewing some of the paperwork nearly a year later, I found a mark that says they can't tell you that GAP coverage is required or it is illegal. I immediately called to get the GAP coverage off the policy. The finance person said his friend at Huntington did him a favor but my husband needed GAP. I became suspicious because I figured this guy probably didn't give us the correct warrantee so I drove to the dealer to check. On April 17th I spoke to finance manager Terry, who said I signed an MPP form not a GMPP form. He wondered why I was so mad because MPP was actually better than GMPP. Terry said they don't even sell General Motors Protection Plans. I told him as a former GM employee that I would find it odd that GM dealers wouldn't be required to also sell General Motors Protection Plans. I told him I was never interested in the product I was sold, it was never explained, and I was clear about the GM plan and the finance person was clear that is what he sold me. He even said to my husband, "don't tell anyone, I gave you your wife's GM discount on this plan." I asked him questions again and again and he lied again and again. Terry said I would not get a full refund on the plan because it is pro-rated and between me and the extended warrantee company. GM you need to step up! This is a new generation of car buyers, people are saavy and do their shopping. There are internet sites such as rip-off reports and consumer advocates like Stick Bogart who is working with me. You are responsible for the actions of your dealers. It is no wonder GM is on the verge of going under, I try to do the right thing buying two American cars and this is what I get. I don't even know at this point if he gave us our GM discounts. There is NO way...NO how anybody is going to take money from my pocket. I demand your involvement with your dealers to make things right. They should give me all my money back and free extended warrantees or completely refund my cars. These cars were written as General Motors Protection Plan included in the sale or I wasn't buying. These contracts are void! This letter is posting on ripoffreport.com awaiting for a response from someone from General Motors. Thank You,

Stonebriar Chevrolet send me back a pro-rated refund check on one of the cars warrantee plan. I am wondering if I should be appeciative about the dealership prorating a plan I didn't know I was buying. I am soon to find out executives at General Motors are interested as to why one of their dealers don't sell the GM Protection Plan and provide ethical customer care. I will post the letter that I have written to GM execs. It will be interesting to see if GM responds.
