Suburban Cadillac of Plymouth Service Department ripoff Plymouth Michigan
My wife was taken advantage of and her and I were lied to by this Dealership Service Department. She took her car in for the 15k Cadillac premier service.This is the oil change , tire rotation that Caddy (GM) offers for 4 years or 50k which ever comes first. She was led to believe that the car needed a Fuel System Cleaning and a 4 wheel alignment. By the time I learned of this they were already done with the car. I called them on the phone when my wife returned home with the work order. I questioned the 4 wheel alignment and I said ," the car doesnt pull to one side, the tires are wearing evenly and they are rotated at every oil change" I was told this Alignment and the Fuel System cleaning was part of GM's recommended service. I said" No, it isnt. I'm looking at the owners manual Service Schedule Interval online and it makes no such mention of any of this work what-so-ever ! It only has 20k on it ! When I questioned it and mentioned I was looking at the manual, the service guy Scott says " GM website is down so he couldnt see it" Are you serious ?? You dont know what the service interval is ? and whats required to be checked or serviced at each interval ? You're a liar . Anyway, it was too late and the car was ready to be picked up so my wife ended up paying it. As if that wasnt bad enough, the estimate for the bill was $263.00. Now it seems that a Fuel System Cleaner and an Alignment would be an easy estimate since there really isnt too much to find wrong and add to the bill. When she went to pay, the bill was $275.00 Really? now its $275? and yet nothing extra was added or performed. No misc parts or anything in addition. When my wife questioned it they adjusted the bill to the original $263.00 . You can make you're own assessment but its clear that they took advantage of her. She trusted them and they walked all over her.
