Sun Communities...I wish that I never came here. I will start from the beginning. My neighbor is in Iraq. The management started harassing his spouse because she complained of the vandelism. The management said that they cannot do anything unless they are caught. The vandels have sliced tires, broken solar lights, let air out of tires, etc. Management will do nothing.

She (me neighbor) went down to the management office and complained about the vandelism. They told her "why don't you take you a** and live on post where you belong". This is BS because she is a military spouse whose husband is in Iraq. Now they are doing "1 month inspections" meaning every month they showup to "inspect" the house.

I came home from work one day and caught 3 teenagers riding my neighbors sons power wheel that she had just bought him for his birthday. They were riding it in the main road, not the community. I call the police and they were took home. We then went to the management but guess what...one of the kids is the maintenance ladies son. So we asked what the management was going to do about it....they said it was my neighbors fault for leaving it on her porch. ARE YOU SERIOUS????

There are way too many instances to put on here. One thing....DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM SUN COMMUNITIES. They will do nothing and they will treat our military family like crap.

In an Ohio community for Sun, If you complain to management, Within 2 hours they will generate a trumped up violation notice. For example 40 MPH in a 15 zone in which the signs aren't legal size anyways and the stop signs are 300 feet apart, or something wrong with the 10X50 foot yard. Makes me want to get a few rottweilers (preferable Mr Vick's dogs) to turn loose on them when they come up the step. Employees have diplomatic immunity from any rules here. The rules only apply to residents that pay rent ON TIME WITHOUT WELFARE VOUCHERS. They are just bluffing and trying to wind your emotions up to scare you out of the office. That's how they are trained at corporate (in Michigan) to do business. I have a police scanner and am entertained every night with the Kindergarteners that beat their old lady or neighbors and then run through yards and trip over power boxes and water valve boxes in my yard to escape the sheriff. It seems they'd rather have more Section 8 renters than cash renters. Not a lot of traffic in the morning leaving here. That explains the sky high rents, Mostly Idoits for maintenance, Robots in the office and poor service overall. Every end of month expect 2 Uhauls and 4 pickups with trailers either in or out. There's a sucker is born every minute. File a complaint with the housing office on base please.
