Sunnyvale Apartments Illegal charges ON top of rent Murray Utah
Sunnyvale apartments tell you one amount to pay when talking to them, upon signing a lease with them, you will have all these extra charges. 1) $70- $130 water bills 2) paid for exterminator to just put bait in the cabinets in the kitchen 3) Have mice, spiders and bugs, if you want to get rid of them, it's $150 plus charge 4) Apartment complex has NO dropbox. If the office is close during the delivery of your rent, you will be charged $250 fee 5) One (1) maintnace person to care for the apts, therefore you have to wait weeks or months for repairs. Most cases, no repair at all, so you must pay outside source. 6) If you can't afford the fees Sunnyvale charges on top of your rent, Sunnyvale will count it as rent and then turn your name to their attorny's office for eviction. (I witness a mother of two toddlers get evicted because they couldn't afford the 'water bill' the apt gave her) 7) The fire exstingushers and such have not been checked in more than 5 years 8) Air condition units have mold and bird poop in ALL of them, therefore are a hazard and alergent. 9) Pay outragous sums for trash, but only two (2) small dumpsters for the whole complex. 10) We are charged taxes for property we do not own. 11) We are charged for police, fire and recue by the apartments, but we get these charges on our phone bill. 12) We get charge for trash by the apts and same charge on our electric bill 13) Forced charge for cable TV. 14) Charged for channels that are free 15) Charged $71 for cable that would be $30 before taxes and box rental, $45 after. 16) Charged for parking weather we want it or not 17) Dangerous exposed wiring hanging outside the building. Sunnyvale gets away with all this because they know no one can afford lawyers to sue them for this practices. I contact quite a few and I can sue for the bargain price of $10,000 for class action suit. It is why I suspect they do not care to hide their actions. I'm a disabled vet and NO ONE cares what happens to us. Wonder why there is so many homeless vets? Here is one major reason why. FYI, I have documents and pictures to support everything listed above.
