Dear Folks: Contrary to what someone may say anonymously online, Super! Models International has one of the best performance records in a difficult and demanding industry, that of modeling and talent (entertainment). Most small agencies who are in the business of recruiting new talent and "pushing them on up" to the major agencies in the big cities feel very fortunate to have made a "find" or two in many years of effort. In this case, not only has Super! Models International found many great talents, but has done an excellent job of training and preparing them for the big career and getting that talent placed with good major agents. Just because a local person does not work in the industry or the big city markets, does not mean they have license to attack a well meaning agent like Mrs. Pettiner who has proven herself over and over again. It is the talent's responsibility to want the career enough to do what is necessary to break into the bigtime. Mrs. Pettiner's advice is always to work hard, aim high and present a clean, wholesome image and co-operative attitude...she is stringent in her requirements. She teaches a clean, classic look that is timeless and will serve anyone well in any kind of interview they may have in the future, including auditions and casting calls. To say less is a disservice to someone who has done much for many, and is responsible personally for giving more than 150 young people their start in this kind of business at the national level. It is a shame that a person's reputation may be damaged by someone who is not brave enough to sign their name to a letter of complaint. There is nothing evil about her or this agency. And no one has ever paid her $1200 and received "nothing" unless they cancelled the arrangements, in which case the refund policy is clearly stated in the agreement everyone is required to sign. It would seem that someone who refuses to sign their real name to a letter of this nature is the evil one.
