Complaint Review: Tahoe Industries Dan Harkness Kevin Rose West Coast Equipment - 6370 US Hwy 1 N Florida

That is such a democratic example of a job description if I've ever heard....

I have done that very job for over a year,  and you have twisted the truth totally out of anger.  (by the way, I don't work for Tahoe Industries but when I saw this report I had to say something.)
First of all,  as a distributor/owner there's a great deal of work that involves travel. 
You say he's NEVER there.  That is a LIE.  He's just not there every day because he has a "CREW CHIEF" who is.

As for the five things they have you do: 
(this is where where you really twisted the truth.)
 
1. Sell equipment for a discounted price.  (distributor cost is much cheaper than retail)  and are you complaining about the money you can make?

2. There has been a "SHOW" in every town I've ever worked,  with a news paper add to prove the fact.  Anyone can verify it by simply contacting the news paper.  DUH
So that is a complete LIE

3. Act stupid like you know nothing?  Are you sure that doesn't just come naturally?

You are not to answer any questions about the equipment because they have a sales rep. (supposed boss) that is "qualified" to answer them.  Besides, you just started the job.  If that makes you feel stupid then that's all you.
And third world country? Are you serious with that?  IT'S HONDA!!!  Quality....

4. Collect cash or cashiers check........ So we know the check is good because bad checks are difficult to collect on.  Buyers Remorse usually kicks in because they bought it strictly to resale it and couldn't get rid of it right away.

5. Taxes must be collected in every state so I don't understand that one.  But we do get paid daily for finding people to take the equipment.  And it's NOT  $2,000.oo.....  as much as I would like.
   
My take on you is to be transparent and lazy with nothing better to do with your time. Weak words from a disgruntled employee  who lacks motivation.

If you call the Police it will spend tax payers money to run checks on the equipment and driver to ultimately discover that they are not committing a "scam" or breaking any laws.
A class action law suit  for STRESS?

Now to deal with the lies, slander & libel contained in the report. Members of our firm know with certainty who is behind this, and he is a competitor to our firm that sells similar equipment. He had one of his hired help post these reports as retribution, as he has lost sales and profits during the past couple of months to our firm due to our superior products, pricing, service, support, distribution methods and warranty. This report's lies are rebutted as follows: 1) Tahoe Industries does not interview anyone for sales positions. It only sells to and through a network of Distributors, not to individual sales people. Dan Harkness left West Coast Equipment when it disbanded, and never participated in any job interviews related to selling Tahoe Industries equipment. The competitior mentioned above who filed this libelous report was unaware that both Dan Harkness & West Coast Equipment suspended operations and did not continue to sell for Tahoe Industries when the principals of West Coast made the transition to our firm ... and that competitor's desire for retribution resulted in the hapless fingering of this individual and entity, when neither participated in any interviews with applicants to sell Tahoe Industries Equipment. 2) No one named Justin was ever interviewed in Garden City, KS. Had their in fact been a Justin who showed up for an interview, he would have never known of Dan Harkness or West Coast Equipment, as neither had continuing involvement with Tahoe Industries. 3) Pseudonym "Justin"'s claim that the equipment is worth $2000 is patently false, as the retail value of the equipment our dealers offer conservatively exceeds $10,000.00 from competitive well known suppliers of similar equipment such as Northern Tool and generatorjoe.com. 4) The principals smeared in this report do not instruct their dealers to lie about anything. However, our libelous competitor pleads with his dealers to lie about most things while selling his equipment, and they often refuse his directives, just one of the many things that causes him to lose so many good distributors and sales people, some of which have joined our firm. 5) Once again, like the first libelous report, "Justin" attempts to tarnish the quality and value of the equipment by saying it is from China, and adds the degrading "3rd world" reference, when China is now the 2nd largest economy in the world. To say that products manufactured here in the U.S. with Honda engines on them is "horrible quality" is laughable, as Honda has the best reputation in the industry, and they thoroughly test and approve each of our products with their engine on them to verify the quality and operating specifications. 6) These products move interstate and are sold and delivered by out of state dealers, and are typically sold as lightly demo'd equipment. No collection of sales taxes is mandated in these instances when equipment is delivered out of state. Nor does it occur. This is a terribly slanderous & libelous accusation, accusing any Tahoe Industries distributor or dealer of a crime that does not occur. This libelous competitor saw fit to abuse and exploit this website to air his smear campaign libeling & slandering Tahoe Industries, Inc., Kevin Rose (formerly operating under West Coast Equipment), and Kevin's former crew leader named Dan Harkness. This clearly violates the terms of use that this website explicitly spells out to posters of reports, and the parties falsely accused in this report as well as the site owners have clear grounds for a lawsuit against the perpetrator. When a business competitor poses as a disgruntled job applicant to inflict damage on its rival, he should be punished and brought to justice. This individual is a simpleton but very well heeled, and if and when the opportunity presents itself, we will indeed sue him into oblivion, as he has left his fingerprints all over his slanderous work here. But he may, however, have a very bright future as a contestant on "America's Dumbest Criminals."
