Complaint Review: Taylor Pointe Apartments - Chesapeake Virginia

I lived in these apartments for 3 years. The rent goes up at least for me every 6-7 months about 30.00-40.00. When the rent got to $900.00 i was at the end of dealing with this. This apartment is not worth 900.00. Whenever you touch the countertops thru out the house you  can hear the wood cracking underneath or may bubble up if you leave water sitting to long. There was a major crack in the patio that  i have been complaining about since last summer. The crack is big enough for bugs to come in especially spiders which is every where in my house. I had to file a complaint with sl nasbaum before they finally came out here to repair the crack. after being here for 3 years i couldn't even get them to repaint the walls they had me come pick up some paint and do it myself.

I had 3 major water leaks that damaged my carpet. one was from when they replaced the fausets in my bathroom they installed it wrong and caused a major leak in my room. I immediately called and told them that it was smelling up my house and she told me it would be 3 days before someone could get out there. Okay 3 days passed still no one shows up and at this time the carpet is turning white and hard, it was no possible way i could get up all the water. So i called again and she tells me it will be a week before the person could come. I told her that was unacceptable and told her if someone didnt come within the next day i was reaching out to an attorney. she had someone out the next day and the left their fan blowing in the middle of my bedroom for over a week. they didnt even properly clean my carpet i had to do my best to clean it. They also didn't even accomadate me for my inconveience.

A similiar situation happened in my living room. The pipes were loose in my kitchen and the water leak damaged the cabinet under the sink. I asked them to fix it and they took MY KITCHEN POT and placed it under the pipes to catch the water and threw down some tiles that don't lay properly, if you try to sit detergent or something over it will just fall over because it's not placed in right. I asked them to come spray down my house from all these bugs that got access from my house from that large crack still nothing. But I better have the $897.00 at the end of the month. I'm over them dicking me over with all the $ and this apartment is s**t pretty much.

I have to keep calling and calling to get an issue fix that is their fault and either it's half done or not done at all!!! i'm so over this place and the staff!! they take out the garbage disposal in the homes so don't dare get food down in the sink or your whole house will start to smell. They also advertise that you had an outside shead but they look you out and you can't even use it, but you pay to have it. just got a letter that the rent will be going up again in october. the nerve of these people. Had a white car that there sprinklers turned brown because the water was so bad. They told me that they were aware of the issue but couldn't do anything about it and to park my car in visitors. Almost every white car I saw was damaged either in the front or back and we had to pay to get our car buffed to get the stain out. And this is just some of my issues.
