TVG, known as Tech Valley Graphics, is a former employer of mine. I quit in January of 2007 for better opportunities and I was sick of getting late paychecks and the efforts of John Bohanski, owner, to change our contract, to which he didn't follow anyway.

He wrote out to people that I was insubordinate and incompetent in my line of work, which is web programming. However, if that were true, he wouldn't have fired the other two employees and leave me to do every job on my own. (John never did any of the work. He often stayed home.) He never made efforts to get more employees to help with work after many requests.

We would often get paychecks 2 weeks later than we should. We were paid bi-weekly, so when they were 2 weeks late with a little skimmed off the top, it added up. Eventually he started making excuses for not having money and tried to change our contract to a "payment on completion of project". I refused he and threw a fit.

He often lied and overcharged unknowing clients for simple things. But at the same time, he would on some projects promise the Earth and all it's elements but charge $10.00 for it before even asking me if it were possible to make.

I eventually got fed up with the lack of unprofessionalism, lies, and late payment in the office and searched for a new job.

We signed contract for him to pay me $1600.00 for the work / time I ended with but didn't get a paycheck for. He paid the first $1000.00 three weeks late, and still owes me $600.00.

He blocks me on any messenger, doesn't reply to e-mails, doesn't answer phone calls. If you were a client, based on what I've seen in the office, I would expect the same.

He also owes one of our former co-workers a paycheck who left even before I did. As far as I know, he still hasn't received it. If he has, it was at least 5+ months late probably with a threat of legal action.

Do not trust this company. They are now incompetent, overcharge for their work, lie to clients, talk slander about former co-workers or clients they don't like, and think they can weasel their way out of contracts. I still am owed money but I know I'll never see it.

There are many companies better than Tech Valley, avoid them at all costs.
