The Cedars Retirement Community The Cedars Not a christian place they pretend to be Leo, In Indiana
The Cedars is a nursing home, residential, assisted living place.
I worked there for 8 months and left. I left for many reasons. Mainly because this place claims to be a christian place, but are anything but.
The employee christmas party is one huge example. One employee got a turkey for a gift.......that person is a vegan. Total vegan lifestyle. The chairperson of the Christmas committee knew this. In fact she made fun of this person.
Second a person that is of the Jewish faith and very devout......got a ham. Again the chairperson (a nurse) knew this and thought it was funny!
Third an aide that is very close to me is of the Muslim faith. She recieved a "BOOK OF PRAYERS" a christian book of prayers. It was for a child. The only child this coworker had was a little girl, who died 3 hours after she was born. It was soooooooooooo hurtful to my friend.
Now the sister to this chairperson..................she received a $50.00 gift card to a large dept store in our area.
If this is how so called christians work.............
To anyone looking to get a job here, look elsewhere.
