I ordered my cover and paid extra for the vapor barrier and thicker cover.  They claim a seven year warranty, so when the vapor barrier completely disintegrated after only two years, I contacted them.  They had me fill out a claim report, which their warranty is provided by some third party company, as well as pictures of the issue.  The photos showed very clearly the vapor barrier completely missing in parts and in thousands of little pieces being held in only by the mesh cover.  They replied by offering to send replacement parts, but I had to pay shipping, which was over $150! Or they would sell me another cover at $100 discount. 

To think that I would pay additional money for a product that failed almost immediately is absurd!  I should have paid more attention to reviews before ordering.  My neighbor ordered the same cover, and his did the EXACT same thing in only one year.  They made the same rediculous offer.  At least they are consistent in something! 

They post reviews of happy customers on their site, which I am now convinced are all employees making up reviews to make them look good.  They offer no place to post reviews, which is probably good, since all the reviews I read elsewhere sound just like mine.  Don't waste your money.

i am having the same problem with my cover. company offered me a replacement for$295 with shipping from a florida manufacturer called prestige spa covers.  i too feel that this is rediculous for a cover that was 2 years old and having a supposed 7 year warranty..  they stated the reason for the deterioration was the chemicals, then due to the ozonator, for not opening the cover for a half hour each day etc..... I presume they would even have something to say about the additional blanket cover that is between the cover and the water!!!!!
