I Agree. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I'm not sure if the property is owned by the same owners as mentioned in the initial report, but I definitely feel as frustrated add the other person complaining.
I talked to other tenants, and they have the same problems we have with our unit. The ceiling is leaking in the living room. It has been over a month (close to two months now) with no response after the problem was reported and supposedly fixed.
Our electric bill is over $200 a month. We cannot plug an iron or hair dryer in any sucker without fuses blowing. Insulation is horrible. In the winter, there is huge ice formations in all of the window seals. In the summer there is mold. These are very old buildings with cover-up cosmetics. Definitely not worth the amount of rent we pay. Every complaint is completely ignored after multiple attempts to get the problems fixed, or never fixed correctly.
Don't let them fool you. The appliances are definitely not new as they told us. The water pressure is horrible in the shower. The water always turns child after about 5 minutes.
After talking to other tenants, we all have the majority of the same exact complaints. Most problems are dangerous. And they are not getting fixed. If I wasn't such a good tenant with excellent rental history, I wouldn't mind breaking my lease. Not happy here at all.
