A few years ago I was stopped in center city and handed a business card for "It factor" and the man said I had potential. I set up an appointment and my mother and I went in to speak with a rep. After arriving I took a few pics on a digital camera and they took my measurments. I was presented 2 packages, one that was for high fashion, which was later taken away because I was "Too Big" (At the time I was 18 5'9 and 119lbs) and one package that was $700+. My mom and I opted out. A FEW WEEKS AGO, I was contacted again via email by Debbie Davis saying that all fees will be waved so I took a chance and booked the appointment. When I arrived I was immediately thrown off by the atmosphere and the staffs appearance. When I stepped into the room Debbie immediately started throwing numbers and prices at me. I was caught off guard. Then when I was asked did I have experience I responded with "Yes, I have runway experience", when I procedeeded to name designers she stopped me and said "I'm sorry, I know nothing about fashion designers" WHICH WAS RED FLAG NUMBER 3. I was told to sign an "agreement" and pay a $40 fee before I left the office. When I told her that I would not sign anything without legal representation looking over it, I was greeted with an attitude and words were exchanged, after which I chose to escort myself out.
