My deposit was finally refunded, but not as Sandra indicated before my previous post. I had to chase The Shutter Company daily calling over 100 times. I was lied to, mislead, told nobody was in, told I had already been refunded. For the most part my calls were answered by messaging service who advised me that they would pass on my message but I never received a return call ONCE. The only time I got any traction was when through frustration I vented my spleen on this website. If The Shutter Company owes you money harass them daily. Sandra, Yusef and the rest of the staff are insincere and will lie to you. I hope that you get your money back and that this disreputable outfit continued to be exposed for the crooks they are.

Hello Sandra,
If this customer received a refund perhaps you can sort out one for me. I've placed an order with The Shutter Company back in February and despite repeated calls and emails to Yusef I have yet to receive either my shutters or my refund. It is now June. I have spoken to Jasmine several times and although she is helpful I still don't have a clue as to when I will get a refund. Judging by the comments left by other people on this site The Shutter Company has no idea how to run a company and despite me threatening to report Yusef to his superiors, it turns out that this man is the superior. I would like my refund of 456 please before Trading Standards get in touch with you.

First of all it is important to highlight and clearly stress that the above mentioned customer was given a FULL refund BEFORE this was posted. A refund to the amount of 634 which was the TOTAL value of the order. In light of the above we are surprised by the nature of the post.
While we at The Shutter Company understand your distress and apologise deeply for any inconvenience caused, there are many assumptions and conclusions made in the aforementioned post that we cannot and do not agree with.
However once again allow us to reiterate we have shown absolute good faith by our refund. And would be happy to resolve any outstanding concerns.
The aforementioned problems are an unfortunate exception to the rule that I believe plenty a company can attest to. And had no refund been given then your concerns would be validated. In light of the fact that we have not kept any monies paid I believe we have shown complete good faith.
We at The Shutter Company have a decade's worth of customer references that we would be happy to share with those interested.
Kind regards,
Sandra
