If they do not have a proper occupational license and in many jurisdictions a special permit is required to sell items off the street. I'm fairly sure the white van crew has neither of these. Also it's safe to assume they don't pay their sales tax, which is a crime. That said, I'm sure the police will get right on this as soon as they solve all the murders and stuff. The usual line in the scam is that the sellers got these speakers when they were loaded "by mistake" and they want to sell them so their boss "the jerk" doesn't get them. Translated: They are implying that the speakers are stolen. They are also saying that these speakers are worth a couple of thousand dollars which would make buying them felony receiving stolen property, if that were true. Anybody who falls for this deserves to lose a couple of hundred dollars. Consider it a cheap lesson

You all need to stop crying about being ripped off for a couple hundred bucks. First off there is no one to Sue, because there is no real company. They pay a no name company to box up crap speakers and other stereo equipment and put the "theater innovations" name on it. Believe it or not it is not even illegal, because again there is no company. I already spoke to police about it. But mainly, YOU are the morons who fell for the scam in the first place, so look at it as an expensive learning experience. If it makes anyone feel better I bought everything they had in the truck and lost $3000 to that scam, but what can I do? I'm the idiot who bought the crap!

Where it says click here to read... There are 5 links. They lead to another 100 or more complaints. Read them all. I think there's an address in there somewhere. I can't remember.

i am requesting an address for the above company who is making this product which is junk is made somewhere and the fact they advertize it in big bold letters, suggested price and 5.1 without the specifics of the extra equipment you need for the 5.1 is a false claim, without inclosing a warranty card in the box or other information in case of problem, further the claim of consummer fraud, with my backround and contacts putting these criminal's where they belong and fine them will not be hard, once i get all information, if anyone out there in cyberland has info on this fraudulent crime ring please send it to me, thank-you

Usually, they rent a storage location for a month or so. They hustle off as much trash as they can. Then, they move the con to a new city where there are new victims. That's why they operate out of vans. Look at the license plates. There are from a thousand miles away. Forget your big lawsuit. Who can you sue? A guy in a white van that's long gone? You need to smarten up. As long as people keep buying, they'll keep right on going. But, when everyone wises up and turns them down, the money ends. As soon as the money ends, you won't be seeing any more vans. That's how you put these people out of business. Not lawsuits. You cut off the money.
