Buyer Beware of these scam artist horse traders! They frequent every auction in Tennessee,Alabama and Kentucky looking for flashy colored gaited horses. These people will go to great lengths to sell you a horse whom isnt worth more than a few hundred dollars, which is what they most likely paid for the horse to begin with. They are the lowest scum on the earth and when they cant sell thier "broke beautiful horse for 3500.00" they load him or her up and off to the auction they go for 200-300.00 prices. They claim horses are registered with a fake registar and will make up the pedigrees. If you request the sale, you will meet these people.

Let me begin by saying that until I purchased a horse from Leighanne Tibbs I had never met her.  We purchased a SSH from Tibbs Highway Horse farm in February of 2011.  The horse was presented to us as a "beginners, anyone can ride" type horse and he has proven himself to be exactly that.

We found Leighanne very honest in her presentation of this horse and in her dealings with us.  In my opinion, there is no such thing as a "bombproof" horse.  They are living thinking beings and they will not always react the way we expect them to.  The horse we purchased from the Tibbs has been an excellent addition to our herd.

Leighanne speaks the truth in her rebuttal where she states that there are many good horses to be had at sales.  Especially with the current market, many people are not able to sell their nice horses in any other way. I have always been afraid to buy from "horse traders", but Leighanne made this a pleasant and rewarding experience for us.  I would buy from her again.

TO AUTHOR OF REPORT :

To whom it may concern -   This is Mrs Tibbs from Tibbs Highway Horse Farm.  I would appreciate you getting your facts straight before listing this BS info on Craigslist.  Instead of hiding behind a computer, tell me who you are.  Come up to me at these horse sales and tell me what you think about me and my husband instead of hiding.  I sell horses for a living.  Yes, some may come from Horse Sales - but there are a lot of good horses that are sold at Horse Sales because people have no where else to sell them at.  I make sure my horses are good and honest, healthy, and sound before I list them for sale.  The 2 stallions that are listed are raised here on my farm.  We take pride in our stock and the Spotted Saddle Horses that we raise.    So, please, I could care less about your opinion - but man up and tell me to my face instead of behind a fake email address on Craigslist.   This is my way of living - 100% satisfied customers with no complaints except for what you may "think" about us.   Sincerely - Mike and Leighanne Tibbs Tibbs Highway Horse Farm Petersburg, TN
