A friend referred me to Stereo Surgeon. With friend's like that, who needs enemies? In March of 2013 I sent Stereo Surgeons, aka Ken Bernacky, a tuner to align. A relatively simple 1 hour procedure for a semi qualified audio Tech. Fast forward a year and two months to May, 2014. Still no tuner. He no longer responds to my emails or answers my phone calls. On at least three occasions dating back some six months or more, he has promised my tuner would be ready within the week. During one phone call he whined about how he has not had a vacation in years, all of his Techs either quit on him, died or retired, and how he works virtually ever day. Basically a litany of excuse after excuse. I resorted to filing a claim the Better Business Bureau and in talks with the District Attorney. Bernacky has even resorted to comparing his work on a piece of electronic equipment to that of restoring a classic car. He has also lied to the BBB and told them he has completed my tuner and has sent me an invoice and is just waiting for me to pay. Really Ken? I have been hounding you for 14 months and you think anyone is going to believe that after waiting for over a year for my tuner to be serviced, and repeatedly asking you when I can expect it to be done, that I am now dragging my feet paying you? Below is the last email I got from his office, some two months ago and still not tuner at the time of this writing. He's a hack, a liar and a terrible technician. Read the many other complaints about him. He even has his receptionist lying for him. Must be his girlfriend.

First day back from vacation, your item has been done and is being quality control tested. Ken will pull it off the qc bench in a day or two and make sure none of the alignment adjustments have changed, if they have changed he will touch them up and then leave it in my office for shipping to you. I will send you your invoice for you final review before I pack it up.
