Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I hired Todd with a glowing reference from a friend to do my tile floors. He did half days for a week to complete it. No big deal, accept the baseboards do not fit, large seams are exposed, they do not go flush to the floor and the nail holes are not filled in.

The granite counters are uneven and messy. The grout is intermittent with large gaps. He promised to use epoxy black grout to make it a smooth surface, but changed his mind at the end. Now the grout lines are messy. They catch food and look white. The backsplash tiles do not line up. He did not create grout lines, so I coaxed him to grind lines to hide the uneven placement, and grout those lines. I held 2 shop vacs for him to catch the dust and helped him clean up.

He installed a wood trim & painted it with latex paint near the sink, but did not paint underneath. The wood gets wet and will rot soon. He refused to clamp down the sink (because he didn't want to pull out the dishwasher - pain in the neck) and it heaves up on the left side. Water is getting down in the 1/8" gap and I'm afraid the cabinets will rot from wetness.

The black trim he installed over the cabinets are painted so messily, that he got black paint on my yellow walls. The black trim in one spot was short and did not reach the wall, so he painted the wall the shape of the trim to fake me out.

He refuses to come back and fix it, or refund me the damages. This process to do the floors and counters took 2 months. He took money up front and then only came to my house an hour or so for a month and a half. I had to text him daily to find out if he was coming.

He took on other jobs and no longer had time for the "job paid in full". Do NOT hire him !

I hired him at first to do my floors, as I had a flood. He talked me into this counter that he wanted to show off to other customers. I am devastated that now my kitchen is a "topic of conversation", of a contractor screwing a customer, rather than the happy gathering place it used to be.

He would not provide me with an invoice, and now I know why.

I looked him up online and he has no buisness license.

I am trying to sue him, but no one has a business card or invoice, as he is a con man. I need his address !!!! A registered letter I sent him came back to me undeliverable. HELP

Loser, me paid cash. I have no records of this transaction, just text messages.

I resent the fact you said no one could please me. I loved my tile floor and told you so. I trusted you to complete the tile countertop you talked me into. I paid you in full and left town. Yes, I loved the look from the pictures you texted me. Up close the tiles are miss measured and trimmed with wood that is not stained, but painted and wood near a sink needs to be treated against water damage. In fact, you DID come back and offered me my money back or you would fix the job. I opted to have you fix the job. You did NOT fix it, and scooted out after an hour when I wasn't paying attention. The grout lines were way off and I even helped hold shop vacs to suck up the dust when you ground lines between the tiles to hide the flaws. I have extensive documentation to prove this. My sink is heaved up on the left because you admitted you did not feel like pulling out the dishwasher to correct it. I dare you to man up and return my money or stand up in court and let someone fair make a decision. You should be ashamed of yourself. You told me you do cash jobs to avoid paying taxes . I think the IRS needs to hear this. And as soon as I find you I will report you to the authorities. You are dishonest and took advantage of me. Happy Holidays crook !

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

I was hired by jerry initially to install a 12"x12" ceramic tile in her residence. She supplied the tile and I provided delivery . She was referred by a long time customer/friend. The job was to be installed while she was on vacation , at my convienance , which it was and finished before she came home. She was very happy with the work.

She then wanted her kitchen countertop cut down and decided to have me set granite tiles instead of the much more expensive granite slabs. To save her money and preform within her budget , I agreed to do the job . The job was started while she was home but then she left on a trip again . I completed the job while she was away . That is why she payed me In full.

When she returned home from her trip she was very happy with my work . I preformed the installation as we agreed for a discounted amount  in return for future referrals . After a friend of hers criticized the job she called me back to touch up a few things, which I did. I removed and reset 8 granite tiles and cut grout joints into the backsplash as to her request.

I jumped thru many 'hoops' for this lady but I do not believe anything or anyone could please her . I have never claimed to be a licensed contracter Or presented myself as such . I am not a con man and I always give more then I take ! Always !
