Tom Johnston & Son's Marine Service Does horrible work, takes deposit and doesnt do work, destroys property, lies ripoff Flanders New York
Tom Johnston & Sons Marine service is a rip off. He started one job for me putting up bulkhead and did some horrible work , never finished , made a mess and took off. He also had taken a deposit on a second job and left with the money and never even started. So basically he robbed me.
I checked around and found several others he did this too.
He either comes in takes a big deposit and starts and does a mess up job and leaves or he takes a deposit and does not work at all.
This guy does not even know how to do the work he contracts for do not use him you can see the mess he made at my place anytime just contact me. I have not been able to fix the mess he made because it will be thousands of dollars and he stole all my money I had for this job.
I have gone to Suffolk County Consumer Affairs and they agree that the work is not up to even minimum standards and that the money taken on my deposit for the second job is a Grand Larceny. They are working on my case, but they are very slow and dont seem to care to much.
